Kids are invited to drop in and design their own sturdy lighthouse alongside structural engineers from TYLin, exploring how real towers like the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse are built to stand strong against wind and waves while experimenting with different building materials to test what makes a structure stable and durable. They’ll also take part in a simple circuit activity to discover how lighthouse lights work, learning how electricity powers a bright beacon to safely guide ships to shore.
