The second Saturday of each month, families are invited to join the National Building Museum for STEAM activities related to our Brick City exhibition. Each activity challenges children to think creatively and experimentally using principles of design thinking and engineering.
May Activity:
During National Week of Making, participants will learn about trailblazing inventors and creators, build hands-on projects using diverse materials, and experiment with how structure, shape, and function work together in the making process.
STEAM Saturdays are targeted towards children in grades 2nd-6th and their caregivers and occur monthly on the second Saturday.
FREE with museum admission, registration strongly encouraged.
A special thank you to our sponsor MiTek.
