The second Saturday of each month, families are invited to join the National Building Museum for STEAM activities related to our Brick City exhibition. Each activity challenges children to think creatively and experimentally using principles of design thinking and engineering.
June Activity:
Participants will learn the basics of rollercoaster physics, including principles of kinetic energy and friction, and then apply this knowledge by building their own rollercoaster using craft materials.
STEAM Saturdays are targeted towards children in grades 2nd-6th and their caregivers and occur monthly on the second Saturday.
FREE with museum admission, registration strongly encouraged.
A special thank you to our sponsor MiTek.
