Celebrate renowned domino artist and YouTube sensation Lily Hevesh’s residency at the Museum by joining us for happy hour and domino building activities. Lily and her team will be on site to share tricks of the trade. Bring your friends and build with us! Registration includes two drink tickets and light bites.

About Destination Domino: YouTube Sensation, Lily Hevesh, at the National Building Museum  

Renowned Domino Artist and YouTube sensation Lily Hevesh will be an artist-in-residence at the National Building Museum from Thursday, July 11, through Saturday, July 20. Lily will create stunning structures and mosaics using domino blocks, including an intricate design crafted from more than 100,000 dominoes in the Museum’s West Court and will attempt a record-breaking thirty-four-foot tower in the Museum’s East Court. The residency will culminate in an eight-minute domino topple on Saturday, July 20.  

As a Domino Artist, Lily combines all facets of STEAM, infusing physics, mathematics, engineering, and artistry into her domino setup designs. At the Museum, Lily will have the physical space to construct a project on a colossal scale, drawing inspiration from the architectural grandeur of the Great Hall.   

Throughout Lily's residency, visitors will have the unique opportunity to witness the construction process of these two monumental creations. Lily's residency promises to be a captivating experience that merges art, science, and engineering in a visually stunning spectacle.
