Disney’s Cinderella (2015) tells the timeless story of a young woman whose courage and kindness transform her world, set against the magical backdrop of a grand palace and vibrant kingdom.
The evening begins with a fun, interactive dance activity led by The Washington Ballet’s community engagement team and dancers from The Washington School of Ballet’s trainee division, giving children a chance to explore movement and storytelling through dance. Guests may also choose to explore the art of set design in a visual presentation highlighting Sergei Prokofiev’s Cinderella, choreographed by Edwaard Liang—a bold reimagining of the timeless tale.
Following the activity, the film will be screened in the Great Hall, creating a magical cinematic experience for the whole family.
Picnic style! Bring your own food, blanket, or lawn chair. No outside alcohol permitted. Drinks and light snacks (including beer and wine) will be available for purchase. Bags will be checked by security upon entry.
